Lillian Lardner, one of the Lodge widows is not well. Just had test at Box Hill Hospital and we hear the results are not good.
Text Box: I have recently visited Michael Wilson at the Angliss Hospital. Michael unfortunately had a toe on the right foot removed last week & part of a toe on the left foot removed this week. He was offered help from the Lodge whenever he needed it. Michael advised he was ok for the present.
Also visited Frank Storey recently. Frank is not 100% but has improved since our last meeting. He must be well as a he is chasing Text Box: The Almoners team took a number of Lodge widows for afternoon tea at Wattle Park on November 14. Two bands from Melbourne Transit played during the afternoon and the widows had a wonderful day.

Text Box: The Almoner’s team regret to report the passing of the following brethren or family:
Bev Smidt died on Wednesday 1 December and her funeral was held on Monday 6 December.
Lilian Lardner (widow of Jack Lardner) died on Christmas eve due to complications arising from surgery relating to her recent cancer diagnosis.
Ashlea Cox (17 years) the granddaughter of Eric & Lorna Davey was killed in a car accident in Clayton at 4.00 am on Christmas eve.
Keith Cameron passed to the Grand Lodge Above on Monday 27 December.

One beautiful Sunday afternoon (apart from the rain showers) Lesley Whitehead, Lillian Lardner & Rohan ( her son ), Nancy Donegan, Lillian Mitchell & Norma Ruck were entertained by the Almoner / Welfare committee and their partners to afternoon tea at the Wattle Park Chalet to the rousing strains of the Tramways Brass and Show Bands.
