MUSIC & DANCING in the Park — Fitzroy Gardens Come and enjoy an enchanting evening of music under the stars. Sway, swing or swoon to the sounds of Steve Purcell’s Pearly Shells. Playing their own arrangements of the Big Band classics and Pearly Shells originals this 10 piece “Little Big Band” has a style and look reminiscent of the Golden Age of Ellington, Basie and Goodman. |

For the first time in many years members of Baden Powell Lodge celebrated with their partners and friends “Christmas in the South”. What a great time was had by all. We were entertained by Ballroom Dancers, dancing partners of our Worshipful Master, Mother and Father Christmas, and Kevin Smith accompanying us on the piano with our carol singing. We also celebrated a number of Masonic Birthdays on the night. We particularly would like to thank everyone who supported our Christmas Tree with gifts this year. The gifts were most appreciated by the staff of Dixon House Monash which is a part of Anglicare. The gifts are being distributed amongst 300 needy families in the Monash District. Graham White |
