The Social committee have been working to define a variety of social outings and activities for 2008.  Although details for some are still being confirmed it is looking to be another year of great social events.

Our first event was Meet the Master Day which was well attended and everyone enjoyed the fun and games, and the "flutter" on the Melbourne Cup.

In recent weeks the second event for 2008 was held at the Queen Victoria Market with the Suzuki Night Market.  This was a very enjoyable evening of music, shopping and great food.

See below details of upcoming events.  A detailed flyer will be distributed on or before our February meeting:

BBQ In the Hills

Come and enjoy a relaxing BBQ with Lodge members, friends and family.  This peaceful setting is a great stage for a great day.  It is also a good opportunity for past Scouting folk to reminisce of days gone by.  More details will follow but we would like to encourage this as a casual event where Lodge Members can invite friends to share in the event.

When:          Sunday 16th March from 11:00am

Where:         Gilwell Park Scout Camp,
                    Gembrook-Launching Place Rd Gembrook.

                    Melways 299 E1

April 19th                      Domain Chandon Day Trip
May 23rd                       Cabaret Night
